Google Ads
& measurement.
Ads you can measure, and improve. Before you spend more, I review what the ad promises, where it leads and how it is measured.
- Dentist near me
- Employment solicitor
- Book a table today
Example
Money on ads
with no idea where it goes.
A bicycle workshop pays for searches by people who want to buy new bikes, which it does not sell. Measurement lets you spot the wrong search and move the budget towards the repairs it does offer.
Hypothetical example; not a real client case.
Check the intent before spending any more.
Every step is measured
So you know which search brings enquiries.
- 01
Clicks
Which search made someone click your ad.
- 02
Landing page visits
What happens when that person reaches your page.
- 03
Enquiries
Calls, forms or bookings: whatever we have agreed to measure.
What is included
What I prepare for your business.
- 01
What counts as a client
Before starting we set what counts: a call, a form or a booking. Without that, nothing can be measured.
- 02
A review of what you promise
I look at what the ad says, where it leads and whether the page says the same.
- 03
The campaigns
I group them by what people search for, with their keywords and the ad copy.
- 04
The landing page
If needed, a page made for the ad. If you already have one that works, I use it.
- 05
Measurement, before switching on
I set up the count for each step — clicks, visits and enquiries — so from the first euro you know what happened.
- 06
The report
I tell you in plain words which search brings clients and which one only costs money.
- 07
The monthly adjustment
Each month I move the budget towards what works and stop what does not.
How I run a campaign.
- 01
What counts as a client
We agree what a real enquiry is: a call, a form or a booking.
- 02
Landing page and measurement before switching on
I prepare the ad’s page and set up the measurement. Nothing is switched on until we can see what happens.
- 03
Campaigns by intent
I group the ads by what each person is searching for, so the copy says what that person wants to read.
- 04
Reading the data and adjusting
I look at which search brings enquiries and which one only costs money, and move the budget from one to the other.
What you need and what you do not.
You need
- Access to your Google Ads account, if you already have one. If not, one is created.
- What you sell and how much you make on each sale, to know how much you can pay for an enquiry.
- A way for people to contact you: phone, form or WhatsApp.
You do not need
- Having a landing page: if one is needed, I prepare it.
- Knowing about Google Ads.
- Spending a lot at the start: we test with a small amount.
Price.
From €490/month
This is the monthly management. You pay Google for the ad spend separately, and it is agreed with you before anything is switched on.
What changes the price
- The number of campaigns and of services you advertise.
- Whether a landing page needs preparing.
- Whether measurement is already in place or has to be built.
Prices exclude VAT. The scope is agreed in writing.
Frequently asked questions.
How much ad budget do I need?
It depends on the service and the market. I prefer to start with a controlled test and a well-measured landing page before recommending you spend more. Note that what you spend on ads you pay to Google, on top of my management, which starts at €490/month.
Do you guarantee customers?
No, and be wary of anyone who does: nobody can promise how many customers an ad will bring. What I do is let you see which search brings customers and which only spends, so the budget goes to what works.
Can I run Ads without a landing page?
You can, but you almost always end up paying for clicks without knowing whether they helped. A page made for the ad and tracking in place before switching on are the minimum.
What is tracking?
It means seeing the whole path: how many clicks, how many visits to the page and how many enquiries. Without that, investing in ads is spending without knowing on what.
What counts as an enquiry?
We agree it before switching anything on: a call, a submitted form or a booking. Without that definition there is no way to know whether an ad works.
Do I need a Google Ads account?
Better if it’s in your name: the money and the history are yours. If you don’t have one, we create it with you.
