Frequently asked questions
What people ask before writing.
They are grouped by topic. If yours isn’t here, ask me in the form or on WhatsApp and I’ll answer it myself.
Getting started
What people ask before writing.
What happens when I press “Talk to an advisor”?
You fill in a three-step form, which takes a minute and a half. I read it myself, pass you to the advisor who covers your area or trade, and she emails you the proposal within 24–48 hours. There is no call in between.
Does asking cost anything or commit me to anything?
No. It’s free and doesn’t commit you to anything. If the proposal doesn’t convince you, we leave it there.
What if I don’t know what I need?
That’s completely normal. The form has an option for it, and what you tell me about your day-to-day helps me more than picking the right service. What suits you may not be what you thought: if the problem is that clients aren’t reaching you, an agent isn’t the first step, and I’ll tell you so.
Can I start with just one thing?
Yes. The services connect with each other, but none of them requires you to hire the others. You can start with whatever takes up most of your time and add the rest when you need it.
Who will I be talking to?
Your advisor, and always the same person, not a shared inbox. I build what gets built myself. The advisor is an independent professional who works with Grania.
Do you work with businesses outside Spain?
I work from Europe with businesses in Spain and Latin America.
Prices and timings
What it costs, what is extra and when you find out.
Do the prices include VAT?
No. All prices on the website are before VAT.
What is charged on top of an agent’s monthly price?
The set-up, which is €390 once only, and each additional agent, which is €120/month. The volume of conversations your plan covers is confirmed by your advisor in the proposal, before you start.
Why don’t a website or an automation have a fixed price?
Because every business needs a different set-up. I give a starting point (from €790 for a website, from €790 for an automation) and your advisor settles the final figure in the proposal, before you start.
Can I be charged for something I wasn’t told about?
The scope and the price are agreed in writing before we start. If something comes up during the work that wasn’t planned, we talk about it before doing it and you decide.
How long does it take to be ready?
It depends on the service and on how much you already have in order. A website with your copy ready goes faster than one where everything has to be written. You get the specific timeframe in the proposal, together with the price, before you start.
What does the set-up include?
Getting the agent working with your information: it is built with you watching and tested before it answers anyone. It is €390 once only.
What if I need more than one agent?
Each additional agent is €120/month. Gestiona includes one and Decide up to three; if you need more, your advisor will explain in the proposal.
Are websites and shops part of a plan?
Gestiona and Decide include a simple website. If you need a larger website, a shop or content, a separate proposal is prepared. The exact scope is put in writing before we start.
WhatsApp agents
How an agent answers and where its limits are.
What exactly does a WhatsApp agent do?
It answers your customers’ messages using what you have given it: your prices, your opening hours, your terms. Depending on the plan, it also puts the appointment in your diary or separates what is urgent from what can wait. What it doesn’t know, it passes to you.
Does it replace someone on my team?
That isn’t the aim. It takes away the repetitive part, such as opening hours, prices and reminders, so that person can spend their time on what needs judgement.
What if the customer would rather talk to a person?
They ask and they are put through. The agent doesn’t insist and doesn’t pretend to be a person.
Can it get things wrong or make things up?
It can fail, like any new tool. That’s why it starts only with what you give it, and when it doesn’t know something it says so and passes it to you instead of making it up. Before it goes live, we test it with you.
What do I need to give it for it to work?
Your prices, your opening hours and the questions you get asked most. A PDF is fine. If you also want it to manage appointments, it needs access to your diary. If you have none of that written down, it has to be written first, and that part is yours because it’s your business.
Do I have to change my tools?
No. The agent connects to what you already use: your diary, your WhatsApp, your email. If it forced you to change system, the move would eat up the time you gain.
What if my trade isn’t on the list?
There are agents designed for firms, clinics, estate agents, beauty salons and restaurants, but the set-up is similar for all of them. Tell me what you do and I’ll tell you if it fits.
Websites and landing pages
What each one is and what I need from you.
What’s the difference between a website and a landing page?
A website has several pages: who you are, what you do, how you work and how to contact you. A landing page is a single page with a single goal, for example asking for a quote, and it is used for an ad campaign or a launch.
Do I need to have all the content ready?
No. We start with what you have, and I help you sort out what to say and in what order. What I do need from you is your texts, your photos and any access required.
Is it worth it if I’m only just starting?
If you already know what you sell and to whom, yes. If you’re still thinking it through, ask for the proposal first and we’ll talk: it is cheaper to sort out the idea beforehand than to redo the website afterwards.
Will I be able to change the texts myself afterwards?
It depends on how we build it. I put it in writing in the proposal, so you know what you can edit yourself and what you ask me for.
Does it include a domain and hosting?
This is settled in the proposal: what is included in the price and what you pay directly to whoever provides it, so there are no surprises.
Can I use one landing page for several ads?
If they all promise the same thing, yes. If each ad speaks to a different need, it’s better to have a variant for each: when the ad and the page say the same thing, more people convert and less is spent.
Will it look good on a mobile?
Yes. I design it for mobile first and then check it on a computer, because almost all visits come from a phone.
How much does a website cost?
There is a starting point (from €790) and the final figure depends on how many pages it has and on what you already have done. I give it to you in the proposal, before you start.
Ecommerce
The online shop and its customer service.
Which platform do you use for the shop?
It depends on your catalogue and on what you already use. I suggest one in the proposal, with the reasons. If you already have a shop set up, I first look at whether it can be reused.
How much does an online shop cost?
It depends on how many products you have and on what you already use, so I don’t put down a standalone figure. I give it to you in the proposal, before you start.
What is the point of connecting it to WhatsApp and email?
So that anyone hesitating before buying gets an answer, anyone who buys gets their confirmation, and you see every order in one place, without checking three different inboxes.
Do I need to have the shop already set up?
No. If you already have one, I first look at whether it can be reused; if not, I build it from scratch on the platform I suggest.
Can I sell if I only have a few products?
Yes. With few products the shop is simpler to build and to maintain, and that shows in the proposal.
What does the agent do when it doesn’t know something?
It passes it to you, like the other WhatsApp agents: it doesn’t make up an answer.
Automations
What you stop doing by hand, and with which tools.
What can be automated?
Almost anything you do by hand and repeat: moving the details from a form to a spreadsheet or to your management tool, sending the welcome message, alerting you to a new contact, reminding you of an appointment. If you do it every week and it eats your time, it’s worth a look.
Do I need an expensive CRM?
Almost never at the start. First I look at what you already pay for: often a well-connected spreadsheet, your email and your forms are enough. If you already have one, I connect it and adapt it; if you have none and you need one, I build one to fit you.
Can you work with the tools I already use?
Yes, and it’s the first thing I check. There’s no point putting another subscription on top if what you have already does the job.
Is it cheaper to pay for several separate apps?
Sometimes, yes, if you’re very small. But there comes a point when you pay for five overlapping subscriptions and copy data between them by hand on top of that. That point can be calculated, and I’ll tell you what I see in your case, even if it’s that it doesn’t suit you yet.
And if something breaks?
Before handing it over I test it on the cases that come up most and explain how it works, so you know what to check if something doesn’t arrive. What happens afterwards and who maintains it, I put in writing in the proposal.
How much does an automation cost?
There is a starting point (from €790) and the final figure depends on how many steps it has and how many tools need connecting. I give it to you in the proposal, before you start.
What do I need to get started?
Access to the tools you use and a description of what you do by hand. With that I work out what is best to automate first.
Content
What goes out each week and where.
What is published each week?
It depends on the scope. The example on the page is an article on your website, a social media post and your Google profile kept up to date, but how many pieces and on which networks we settle with you, and the price follows from that.
What is the point of publishing if I already have a website?
A website that stands still falls behind: anyone searching Google for what you do finds whoever is writing about it. Publishing consistently is what takes the most effort, and what shows the most.
How do I know if it works?
I look at what gets read and what brings messages or calls, and from that we decide what to keep doing and what not to.
Do I have to approve every post?
We decide at the start and it goes in writing: you can approve everything before it goes out, or leave the routine to me and review only the important things.
What if I don’t have a website?
Then the first thing is the website or, at the very least, your Google profile: publishing without a place to send people is only half the job. We talk it through in the proposal.
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many pieces go out each week and on which networks. The price comes from the scope and you see it before you start.
Google Ads and tracking
Ads you can follow all the way to the customer.
How much ad budget do I need?
It depends on the service and the market. I prefer to start with a controlled test and a well-measured landing page before recommending you spend more. Note that what you spend on ads you pay to Google, on top of my management, which starts at €490/month.
Do you guarantee customers?
No, and be wary of anyone who does: nobody can promise how many customers an ad will bring. What I do is let you see which search brings customers and which only spends, so the budget goes to what works.
Can I run Ads without a landing page?
You can, but you almost always end up paying for clicks without knowing whether they helped. A page made for the ad and tracking in place before switching on are the minimum.
What is tracking?
It means seeing the whole path: how many clicks, how many visits to the page and how many enquiries. Without that, investing in ads is spending without knowing on what.
What counts as an enquiry?
We agree it before switching anything on: a call, a submitted form or a booking. Without that definition there is no way to know whether an ad works.
Do I need a Google Ads account?
Better if it’s in your name: the money and the history are yours. If you don’t have one, we create it with you.
Your data
Who sees what you write and what happens if you leave.
Who sees what I write in the form?
Me and the advisor assigned to you, who is an independent professional and may only use it to deal with your request. She cannot use it for anything else or pass it on, and your information is not sold to anyone.
Where is my customers’ data stored?
It stays in the tools you already use, without setting up a separate archive. Where the agent’s platform stores it, I set out in writing in the proposal, before you sign up for anything.
What if I want to leave?
Your diary and your customers remain yours, and you take them with you.
Is one missing?
Tell me what you do by hand today and I’ll answer with your case in front of me.
